Former Mississippi State catchers J.B. Tucker and Craig Tatum will reunite in Wisconsin this weekend when the pair's minor league clubs matchup in a four-game series set to begin Friday night.

Tucker, whose Timber Rattlers squad will play host to Tatum's Dayton Dragons team, has been one of Wisconsin's leading hitters this season. His .277 batting average is fifth-highest on the team, while his four homeruns are the best of any player on the squad. Tucker has also driven in 14 runs and compiled a team-leading .482 slugging percentage while committing just one error in 24 games.

Tatum, meanwhile, has split time at catcher this season, but like Tucker, he is also one of his team's better hitters. In 22 games, Tatum is hitting .293 with a half-dozen doubles and five RBI. He has committed just three errors on the season.

Tucker's final year on campus in Starkville was 2003 when he hit .312 with a couple of homeruns and 20 RBI. Tatum last wore the maroon and white in 2004 when he took over the catching duties full-time and was the team's second-leading hitter with a .325 average. That season the Hattiesburg, MS native also hit 13 homeruns and tied for the team lead with 16 doubles while throwing out 19 of 29 runners who attempted to steal.

Game times on Friday and Saturday are at 6:35 PM, while Sunday's game is set to begin at 1:05 PM. The series-finale is set for an 11:35 AM start on Monday. All games can be listened to online for free via the Timber Rattlers' Radio Network.
